I have the Metallica Ninja Star on my back, not because of their music entirely but because of the influence they've had in my life. When I was young I only knew of rap/popular music, and Metallica was the first Rock band that I started to really "get into". Since then my musical tastes have evolved and my passion grown, but its allways nice to recognize an important period of time in my life.

One other one I'd get is the sublime sun or some other sublime art, because no matter what kind of mood I'm in all that I have to do is throw in some SUBLIME and it gets me smiling.....I feel passionatly that a smile is the first step towards true happiness, my ultimate goal.

Didn't notice this thread before. I really really want to get a Stealie tat and a Righteous Babe tat - preferably on "matching" sides (one on each arm, or ankle, or shoulder, I haven't decided...) :)

I would get Buddy Holly tattooed on my body in a heartbeat, but for now, I settled on getting the Swan Song logo.

I also kinda toyed around with the idea of getting Brian Jones or John Bonham on my arm, but my arms are flabby and fat, so not any time soon.

I have a piece of radiohead artwork on my arm. they were the most influential thing in my life when I needed it the most, and I'm only the person I am today because of their music. also, I love the artwork, and I seriously doubt I'll ever regret getting it.

Who cares if the band breaks up? Does that automatically require a person to like them less?
