northwest glass art... ripping people off?

Okay, first off let me just say that I know I maybe should have posted this in the "show your piece" section, but I wanted as many people to read this as possible, and I'm sure most people don't spend much time reading those threads.

So monday of last week (one week and two days ago) I ordered a pipe from northwestglassart. I sent my money order, and heard nothing after that for about a week. It should have taken them three days at the most to receive my money, so I called them and sent many emails, none of which were responded to. just yesterday i got an email saying they shipped my order, which made me happy. so far so good, but....

I just did a search on ripoffreport.com for northwest glass art, and there are TONS of people saying that this site is a scam, and that they take your money and never ship you your purchase. These all seem like very legitamate claims; if you don't believe me, just go to ripoffreport.com, do a search, and you can see right away why I'm worried.

So my question is, has anybody on these forums personally ordered from this company and gotten what they paid for? I'm pretty fuckin worried to say the least, and I'm really disapointed about this, if they do happen to rip ppl off. It was a beautiful piece I ordered, and looking through their site, you can see that they (supposidly) sell VERY high quality stuff, not shitty glass.

Anyways, thanks for the help, I really hope this doesnt turn out how I'm starting to think it will, and I'll never see the fuckin bowl I paid for.

exactly! i mean, looking at the pics, you just think like, "damn this is the jackpot, these piece are sick and they arent way overpriced!". I mean we have a few good local headshops, but even their best stuff doesnt quite compair with the best stuff at northwest. aggghhhh fuck... guess ill just have to wait and see.

glass is so ez to come by.. even the nicest peices arent hard to find, i would never even concider ordering anything remotely drug related from any site
i get all my glass directly from the blowers or 1 of theyre freinds

 

eh i hear ya on that, but take a look through the site. I'm pretty sure its better than anything else you'll find online, as far as the variety and amount of quality pieces they have. its not some sleezy deal, or at least it doesnt appear to be at first... just take a look through the site, look at their inside out glass and stuff, and I'm pretty sure you'll understand why I want their stuff. by the way, I ordered the Odyssey.

tell me that thing isnt beautiful. come on, say it! its not often you come by something that really looks that good and isnt sloppy looking. im really hoping i get it... if im gonna, it should be here by friday...

ive kinda come to the conclusion that i will get it though, i think this site just has some kinda shitty processing system. who knows.

 

yes my friend i have some feedback for nothwest glass art...

one of my very good friends orederd a $30 piece and a $20 nug jar since any order $50+ is free shipping...so anyway it took about a week to arrive and what does he get? 2 crappy pieces and a smaller nug jar...he said he doesnt recomend it to anyone.

but i guess money transfer wise it was ok

the 1 pipe was the 1st shed blown like this and i got it for 25 cause she wanted me to have it..but the next 1 like it went for 250-350
it wasd a beautiful female body in gold and like a purplish shine it was so beautiful.. then i had 15 wild crazy chillums a bubler or 2 but not sure i ever used em.. every 1 1 of a kind..ya dont get quality shit online ya get mass produced crap if u get anything..lol the 1 u pointed out was lil nice but still in the everyday average range

damn i almost got an amazin glass dragon for some crystals last year
the fact they show used pipes on that site would make me think twice

 

I've tried ordering from them twice, both times they charged my bank and then took the charge back. I tried emailing them multiple times and no response. I think in all fairness though, my bank account had a different address on it and my bank was slow to update it. Still though, they haven't responded at all to emails and that's kinda shitty.

 

soaringeagle- i have no idea what that pic is of, i cant see it. actually, the reason i ordered from this place is because it supposidly ISNT mass produced shit. I mean if you read their description on that first or second page you come to, they explain that its a studio somewhere in WA. who knows yet, I'll have to wait and see what I get. I really don't wanna bad mouth this company if it is legit, so I guess ill just stop now, and if for some reason i do get screwed, well then ill let you all know. by the way, where did you see pipes on that site that were already used?

 

holy fucking shit. i swear to god, this is not cool at all. I just got the piece in the mail and it looks NOTHING like the picture. I'm not even going to type much now because I'm way to pissed off to even start. this is fucking bullshit. ill get back later with a pic or two, BUT FOR THE RECORD, DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE. THEY SEND YOU FUCKING GARBAGE THAT IS IN NO WAY RELATED TO WHAT YOU ORDERED. seriously, fuck this, im gonna find a way to get my fucking money back.

The same happened to me. The pipe they sent me looks like a cheap pipe with no colors like the picture. Also took them a couple weeks to get to me. Totally mass produced india bullshit pipes.

 

should I trust this site? it's been 2 years.....they look kinda legit now ahha
