k so heres my idea , we live in highwaychild, but we want a stable farm somewhere central states canada where we can have a barn a shop, grow canola and process our own bio diesel.... have kids come learn machanics, do crafts..then send them on buses.......thats the pilot
well growing canola would just be cool as hell as well as fund the farm, we could sell svo or biodiesel.... using waste is great..somethimes, though it would be hard to find a crap load of oil often in the middle of the heart land... were going to stop and work in the south east probally buy land sometime around Xmas, were co-oping this so it stays idealist, greed sucks power sucks, if we set it up properly we can keep it well
I may have 36 acres of free land witha house and a heated barn....may be a kick down....Ill let you know
Are you looking to be off grid / on grid? Do you want to grow a farm too to help sustain a community or is this more of a couple people getting a couple workshops together? Don't get me wrong, I think its a great idea, just wondering if I can have a view of the "bigger picture"

we want to grow canola oil and make bio diesel, grow crops, as well as have some animals , wind power as well as solar, we have huge plans, we need some reliable people to run certain aspects, but were not there yet.....

Hey dude: Love your idea. If you want to add an old hippie chick and a young man who is a hippie too but just don't know it yet (my son, 24yrs old) to the mix we would welcome the opportunity. He gets SSI and can chop wood pretty good. Me I can cook, have knowledge of the needlearts. Willing to learn more. Am a herbalist and energy worker. If you are interested PM me and I will give you contact details. PM with yours. I think I met you guys in California in 2004. I was staying up near bus village at Derwins camp. Where the sweat lodge was. Next to Magic Bowl kitchen and across from New Jersualem camp and Yoga Healing Arts Camp. Whatever, I wish you the best of luck and send the blessing of Mother Earth into all your endeavors. Peace, cricketlind aka cricket shadowolf
