I LOVE Labryinth! My sister and I used to ALWAYS rent it from the video store when we were kids... we loved it so much. Then, a couple years ago, I bought it on DVD. I love David Bowie in it, he's quite cool. And the soundtrack is good. Oh, and the muppets are really cool.

That would be a cool movie to watch while on LSD. ;)

Out of all of them I am going to have to go with The labyrinth. I own the movie, the soundtrack, and was even going to use a musical score in my wedding plans ("home at last") when I was still getting married. Legend was good, but not THAT good. I have the soundtrack to that as well. The princess bride isn't bad and I still have not seen The dark crystal yet.

omg, the labyritnth is fantastoc, but the Princess Bride will alwsy, always win - It is a great movie of my childhood (it ties for first place with The Goonies)

I love "My name is my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father: prepare to die" (now who said that, lol :)

I'd say Labyrinth too. It's the only one of the three I own on dvd. Dark Crystal was cool too. I'd forgotten all about that film. I've never seen The Princess Bride, am I missing much??

Ahhh...The Goonies...my favourite film as a kid!!!! I wanted to be in that gang. I wanted to find hidden treasure on lost pirate ships. God, my adult life has been a disapointment. I blame films like that for getting my hopes up :)

And after he says it to the 6-fingered man (over and over again) the 6-fingered man says: Stop say that! And runs away.

yeah, thats probably right...lol, I was just thinking it would be funny if someone answerd that as in what character said it...I guess it's oly funny If, like me, you have been trying to write an essay for the last 6 hours and are feeling a little hysterical :)

and with the goonies thing, oh I can sympathise. (and watch the princess bride - yes, you are missing out GREATLY)

Mine will always be the Princess Bride because I'm a hopeless romantic...but I love the others as well, I just can't make up my mind. i can quote the whole Princess Bride word for word. I made another thread about The Flight of the Navigator thinking that Fred Savage was in it, but really, I was thinking of him in the Princcess Bride.
My favorite line from the Dark Crystal is "of course you don't have wings, your a boy." Ahhhh memories.

The Princess Bride full stop. It beats Legend, Labryinth, Dark Crystal, as well as my Castilian swordsman, my giant and the Sicilian. Any man with an ounce of romance in his soul would want to be the Dread Pirate Roberts. Any one who's ever read a story to a sick child and tried to make the words come alive will want to be Peter Falk. I can even forgive the director who cast Billy Crystal as Miracle Max. I've seen it at the cinema and have budget video copy - could really do with someone working on a digital copy to clean it up a bit. (PS I believe their is a Special edition DVD scheduled to do just that)

Ooh it would have to be between Labyrinth and the Princess Bride...

but I guess I would have to say Princess Bride. It's the first movie I ever really remember seeing, and I would watch it several times a week when I was a kid. Oh memories.

This is a little tangential, but...

That guy who moves the crystal balls with his hands in Labyrinth is a guy named Michael Motion. He is one of the most amazing humans alive. He doesn't do shit in the movie, but if you watch his performances, he will absolutely blow your mind.

And I'll vote for Princess Bride. It never gets old.
