Phil Lesh diagnosed with cancer.

On October 26th, Phil Lesh released a statement that he was diagnosed with prostate cancer.

I read about that in the paper two days ago... No commentary in the paper from him, so it's good to see he's feelin okay about it all.

Yeah, he had a liver transplant. At all of his shows he always encourages people to become organ donors.

 

Yea I remember reading that when he wrote it. Sucks but he should be OK.

My father had prostate cancer about 10 years ago and is doing very well. Phil will be fine w/ any luck. My wife has received two organs. Please donate your organs, I promise that you won't need them. The worms will just have to find something else to eat.
