posting threads like this could end up badly
nobody can tell from those pics
identifying shrooms is something u need to be 100% confident in
many species llook very simular and are very difficult to identify
and trustin anyone on here is takin a real risk...
there are places u can learn to identify them, but a picture on here wont help ya any

why don't ya walk by, and accidentally tip them over ... if the stems turn blue, they are psychedelic.

I'm no mycologist, but i know that only psilocin-containing mushrooms do that

I was under the impression that some other types of mushrooms also bruise blue. IDK I would never eat anything in the wild.

Its true you cant just have the blue in mind...Some others could also bruise that color.

But no they are not psychedelic

Yea... IDK I am even less qualified than you to give comment on picking boomers in the wild, AFAIK psilocybes of no kind grow naturally in MA. I just wouldn't bother wasting my time cause I've heard horror stories of even experienced pickers picking poisonous ones...

Check this one: This comes from a respectable professor, who used to have thorazine shots on hand to administer for freak outs at berkeley in 67 where he was getting his doctorate... not a bullshitter, nor was he anti-drug in any way:

A guy who used to pick his own mushrooms for cooking food, not tripping, went out into the wild to get some. He got some of what he normally did and ate them with his family as usual. Within about 45 minutes they began to get violently sick, which ended in I think it was two hours... They all died of kidney or renal failure I forget which one. Those days are hazy but you get the gist of the story, not bullshit in any way.

This was a known person who *knew* what he was doing picking them in the wild... not a professional but had just done it a lot.

So with no experience at all, and not having an experienced person accompany you, it is very dangerous to fuck with fungus... better off ordering a syringe and using some cakes in your bedroom man.

Look, those are bolets. They also bruise blue. They are not psychoactive. They have pores not gills though.

some shrooms are both psychodelic AND TOXIC
if you are not 100% sure what u got, dont try em...
the most deadly shroom i believe is psychodelic..but the toxicidy to ptency is so close to 50/50 its a trip or die situation...
dont do shrooms you arent 100% sure of

Well...What mushrooms were you lookin for.

Im no expert, just accustomed, but looked in what psilos you could find in virginia, and only saw psilocybe caerulipes. Maybe there are others but I guess they should be pretty rare.

Didnt see anythin about woodlovers or cubensis or whatever, even in random sources , really deep sources in google. Yo0u could still look though.

But...* Very elusive but common when found. Large collections in West Virginia resulted in more than 80 arrests on one single day*

    Thats for caerulipes
