who had one? i did, what a cute little fucker, i miss that little fucker. i wishes that i still had him. i llove him.
I had one sistah. The one i had came with batteries and it would read the teddy rupskin book that came with it. Those were tha days babe. I had to be 5 or 6 or something and I use to watch the cartoon with their flying boat. I knew we had a lot in common. Peace & Love
I had one as well ... I had a shit tone of tapes and book thats went along with him.... prbly still around my parents house somewhere
I used to want one when i was little, But never got one. Instead I got a talking 'Criket' doll. Basically a life sized doll that talked and told stories. She was terrifying when her eyes moved.
my mother still has hers. she fell in love with that damn thing when it came out years ago. she bought herself one for xmas and it's a prized posession of hers, still to this day. i think the only time i've ever touched it was when i knocked it off it's shelf and had to put it back before she knew what had happened.
I bought one years ago for my god child......she loved it. Was cute as could be and was played with a lot......not only by the child
i remember the joke about putting a kiss tape in them for the vocals. never HAD one, but i liked the idea. then there were those other things that were like the mascot from speed racer or something i forget but i remember there was this thing about this super kid from outerspace living with an earth family like a foregn exchange student or something and he had this 'pet' (or maybe he was its pet) that was, ah, furbi, that's what they were called. now they've got these robopet things, at least they do over in japan, where i guess a lot of people live in appartments where they can't have live ones. like a lot of people do here. but i don't know if they've tried to market those things in the u.s. yet, or ever will. oh yah, over here the've got i-dogs; what a crock, not at all like a 3d-life robopet would be. still of course all these things are pretty limited. if they weren't they'd be too expensive to sell very many for toys. of course the richbitch stores do manage to sell giant life size plushies of zilgabux. which leads to other thoughts; ... of life size roboplushie 'comfort annys' (and 'andys') =^^= .../\...
you can buy teddy ruxspin again. they've brought it back out. my daughter, kai, saw one in the grocery store and started crying. it scared the bejesus out of her.
Yes, I remember this to. And you could buy the different outfits for it. I have a perfect photographic memory of my teddy rupskin. I remember the brown vest and the red tounge and the tape player in the back, his cute little feet and paws. Oh how I miss him. I do, I do.
I think I know what your talking about, those were from japan to. They have a set of them at the comic store here from the 80's.
