Man, the day has come--finally I enlighten myself a little; shed some light on what... may happen to myself. So... if everything turns out and I graduate ahead, I'm probably moving somewhere nobody has ever heard of, outside of Charlottesville, for a year, to try it out west. I just got someone to offer me ridculously low rent on a two bedroom cabin with somewhere between 80-120 acres of multi-use land and I really can't turn something like this down, since my friend's dad owns the place. The guy's son might split rent with me and live there, but it depends on some things. C-Villeeeeee.... With a view like this.. who would. So... University of Virginia? We shall see. Despite that... it's getting highly competitive, expensive, and people from up north keep migrating into the place in the search for good colleges at prices that aren't in the ivy league range...
yea it def. looks sweet man!!!! I might be moving to NC after this yr. as well.... my rents just moved to charolette and both my bros live in NC
She doesn't mind... Besides that, I'd like to move a place where nobody will ever find me and I'll always be able to drive to Charlottesville for anything I need/work/uni. I got my licensure with the EPA for refrigerant treatment, so another year and I can start working above all the entry people and sort of gain my tenure with other engineers and techs. I'll have 2500 or so hours by then... Then two more years, I could get scholarship from the University of NW Ohio and I'll get my Journeyman's license. Or I could just go to UVA knowing I'd gotten in cheaper than the trust-fund babies that have tried to occupy the place. But, I.... still have this fascination with Asheville.
wow, that looks really cool. But it looks like we're very diffrent people, you want to live out in the secluded country and I want to live on NYC. But good luck with that. Imagine the clear view of the stars you'll get.
It's not that I wouldn't mind New York City, it's that it's too cold, too expensive, and people can really clash in that kind of stressful environment. Until three years ago, I lived on a 120 acre place... I mainly want to move there because I miss my sanity/breathing space.
haha. I really don't see myself wanting to live anywhere other then NYC right now. Well, it'd be brooklyn because NYC is to expensive, and in all actuallty brooklyn is the new village because that's where all the artists, musicans, poets etc. have went. But of corse they all play their gigs and the like in the village.
I might move to Sherbrooke next year for cégep if i can convince my parents . I wanna go in this pre-university program that has history classes, art history classes, languages arts classes plus you can choose electives like photography, german and intro to political science stuff ...And after well, i'd like to go to McGill University , they have a good reputation and the tuition isn't that expensive since i am a Québec resident I've been thinking recently of becoming an history teacher or a journalist so ... Sorry for ranting in your thread George I absolutely love this log cabin
Let me know if you do move to NYC. I have a friend that is a musician and just opened a bar / nightclub.
I'm going to come live with you. Ahaha. There are so many beautiful places like that around here, but it's so damned expensive.
