I guess it technically should go in the LSD forum, but it talks about lots of other chemicals as well. The chapter on mushrooms was pretty crazy. Definetely read it if you have time.
I've read stuff like this before and I think it's hilarious to picture some clean cut guy in a suit in the 40s puffing a "marijuana cigarette" and getting retarded.
Well these things were happening in the 50's before marijuana was as widespread as in the 60's and they weren't told it was marijuana, it was supposedly tobacco. They also spiked peoples' drinks with a THC liquid that was supposedly tasteless. That was just the start of their research. Check out the LSD and mushroom chapters... they're even more bizzarre.
