Woo-hoo! So, the other day when my partner was at work someone brought this sewing center table in with a "defect" and returned it. The particle board top was slightly nicked in one place, it's barely een noticable. He got a totally unbelievable deal on it and surprised by bringing it home! It's bigger, and taller, than the tables I was using before so it required that I totally redo how the sewing room is organized. I've never had so much cabinet/organizational space to work with in my life! It has leaves on either side that are up in the pics, for a great big cutting surface. We're going to buy a great big rotary mat to fit it sometime soon. I really like this setup, it feels so roomy now. And there's a space under the other table that's perfect for keeping a bin of scrap handy when I'm sewing patchwork yardage. That monitor isn't hooked up to anything at the moment, but I'm planning on getting another computer together for it soon so I'll have a movie-machine while I sew. For the time being, I just have a subwoofer set hooked up to one of our PSPs for music and audio books. The window in the picture leads right out to the side of my glass studio, so I can share that audio entertainment between work spaces. I wanted to get these pics up and show it off now, because I'm about to get working in there and I'll probably make a mess! So check it out!
Wow! thats a really great set up and so organized. My sewing room is a mess! Congrats on your new table
