I don't like any weblog or friendfindersite, those are just lame by definition. Myspace is less lame because of all the bands you can find there.
I hate myspace, but that link you posted for friend finder or whatever it is looks far lamer than myspace. The type of person who would join your little friend website probably already has a myspace and wouldn't want to switch. -Mike
I don't like myspace because it takes the personality out of people. Why look at text when you could look at, and talk to, and mabye touch a real person?
from what i've heard, that was the original point of it, for the music. anyway, we're not supposed to discuss myspace on here.
I think myspace is great. I love meeting all these strangers and having deep philosophical conversations with them. And for finding people from when i was a toddler and seeing where they've got to. Ooh and the best bit was finding my cousin from the US on there, which has led me to being in contact with my aunt, my dad's sister which is really really great cause i have absolutely no contact with my dad so she is like a little bridge of information for me And it's easier than msn, less awkward convos..
I admit there are some cool people on myspace, but it's 98% full of label-loving middle class teens filled with hate and ignorance. Correction, I have plenty of ignorance myself, but very little hate. And at least I realize it, and try to fix it. I hate it when people won't admit that they aren't perfect.
myspace is great for keeping contact with old friends and networking. its great for sharing music as well. although music quality sucks on myspace
I don't like Myspace. People on there are whoring for 'friends' (that they've never actually seen and never really talk to). Superficial crap. And I have other ways to discover new music.
because you can't always look at talk to or touch your friends. and 98%? i dont think so. it may seem that way because they're the ones making themselves more known.
I totally agree. The only reason I even have a myspace is to keep in touch with friends who moved away to college, or I just don't get to see much because our schedules constantly conflict. I don't have a myspace to meet new people.
