Black Market Globalization will reduce the strength of the brand if left unchecked.

Let me get this straight ... you are promoting the brand but at the same time you are against globalization?

You have me very confused. Perhaps a little bit of explanation on your part would do a world of service.

    Let's begin at the top:

Revisit link in post#1... by the way, I have added more content.

OSF, what's your meaning of a "brand" in post#2

If post#3 understands that a "brand" is a registered trademark for companies that protect them from piracy then this post and the following posts should be inline. Example: most songs are copyrighted against piracy from others using the same song on their albums without permission.

gertie, the Far East are stealing our songs, and not just our songs, Europe's as well -- the G7... visit my blog for "Reasons for World Wars".

Look for my next addition to my blog with the Kerry-Edwards trade/jobs action plan... it looks good on paper, but you will need more muscle than lawyers, and that's when, I'm afraid the B52's will have to been sent end.

OK, so counterfeiting Drugs is not on when they end up killing people. But appart from that I don't see why its that much of a problem.

Until the British turned up, invaded their port cities and shipped in opium from India to flood the market and make shed loads of Money, China was the Richest country and largest economy on the planet for several thousand years. They had a minimal wellfare state back 1000 years ago.

SO if now they want to counterfeit a few western goods because it make a quick cheap buck, so what.

There are far worse and more serious problems in the world. I'm not saying this issue should be ignored, but why are you getting so upset about it?

I saw this too a while back. It was very crazy. Most of their money comes from a counterfitting market. But if we were not so into buying "brands" they would have no market. Point in case that people are so sucked into it all they dont even see beyond the brand. Corporations are probably at fault for this in the first place...because they make brands wanted by making you addicted to tv making you buy brands making people want more more more making counterfitters make money on people who love brands but want a deal cuz we all love deals so really its corporate americas own fault
