Sunday bloody Sunday. I'm glad I live in the middle of nowhere. When I'm at uni and living in the city, I hate Sundays - nothing to do, bar closes early, and I tend to wake up after the shops have shut! Damn. I do have roasts on Sundays often when at home though :D
But now we're back to posting the days of the week

Yep, I'm a heathen, I had Chinese takeaway. And the fortune cookie message proved that the Chinese diaspora in the catering industry are all anti-communist:

    "Hard work brings success!"

Hmmm, and maybe you'll be rewarded in the next life....

Better than the forture I had last week:

"You may or may not experience hardships in the next 7 days."

    Really?...

I love the accuracy of these things :)

You may or may not get married at some point in your life....

I'll probably be at my Dad's for lunch today. So whatever it is, it's gonna be sweet! He doesn't tend to go for the old sunday dinner in the summer...But it's getting awfully wintery outside!

Had a Sunday dinner on Thursday though, so it's not too big a loss.

Today the family enjoyed roast chicken, roast potatoes, batter puddings, carrots and cabbage. Shannon replaced chicken with vege sausages. No stuffing unfortunately.

Being veggie we don't do the whole Sunday dinner thing but I always try to actually cook something rather than just getting stuff out of the freezer. Cos it was Nov 5 this Sunday I made a kinda stew with loads of beans and veggies hotdogs and cajun spices served over jacket spuds. Mmmm!
