when i was 19 i dated a younger girl.. but this is how it started..
we hung out once..i'd already been freinds with her parents
she then told her parents she liked me...her parents then told me and we sat down and had a talk about it and they decided it was ok to date her

if shes gonna date you, she must be honnesst about it with her family..and they gotta be ok with it

yah but the reality of the situation is other 16 yr. old boys can be quite spacey about sex... when i get stoned with other 16 yr olds and i'm starting to get horny and hoping he's gonna hop on my bones, they more than once get all fruit looply and get the giggles.... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! its so frustrating plus even if you do end up having sex, they just don't know how to work it

older guys on the other hand got the sauve touch and know how to work the equipment... i guess being that they have more experience with it

and that 20 years in prison is just a stupid law... and hippies don't follow stupid laws cuz the laws are stupid... but you're right, its a law and therefore you might get caught which is why if you're an older guy and having sex with 16 year old chicks, its probably best if you're gay cuz then if you go to prison, at least you'll have fun there

Honestly, 4 years isn't that much...but it's much better to wait until she's a little older, because as hard as it is to believe, there's a much bigger difference between a 16 and a 20 year old than there is between an 18 and 22 year old. The years between 16 and 18 can be the most erratic and unstable in a girl, she could be a totally different person when your relationship could actually be legal. Morally, I find nothing wrong with the age difference, but really take into consideration the fact that you may run into some problems due to it.

I was 18 when I met my boyfriend, he was 22. I'm almost 20 now and he's almost 24, but we still butt heads often due to our age differences. If you decide to go for it, be careful, and always keep in mind, she's younger than you, it's unlikely she's seen or experienced nearly as much as you have. Give her some slack and be understanding. As long as you can work through situations that may arise, you'll be fine.

 

Hey man i hate when girls say that just becasue guys are young they are immature...wow trust me , im 15 and im way mature for my age i can be immature but thats when im with friends when it comes to sex..im mature baby You never know everyones differnetly.. i never met one guy my age whos 15 , whos really imature about sex maybe 2 - 3 but not alot.

First off, 4 years is not a lot of age difference.

Second, the age of sexual consent in MOST states is 16.

Third, No court in the country is going to prosecute a 20 y/o for doing a 16 y/o.

Don't worry about that side of it. But, like has been said, 16 y/o girls DO tend to change their minds like turning lights on and off. Just take it easy. And be safe.

I completely agree with Erzebet though (I'm a mommy-thinker, too. Without actually being a mommy.). Wait until she's older. Sixteen year old girls feelings fluctuate as often as their hormones, and adding the distance in only worsens that situation.

Besides, if you wait those couple years and remain good friends you'll have a more solid base of friendship to base a romantic relationship on.

wtf can't you? I live in Europe, and it's pretty normal here. My good friend (14) has a bf (20) and nobody finds it weird or something ... well, they don't have sex still, they want to wait until she's 15 (since this age you can have it) ... but it's still normal.
