I want to grow my own salvia plant , my parents know how a marijuana plant looks like so theres no way a mj plant is getting grown in my house but i also smoke salvia and my rents have NO klue what salvia is , so i was thinking of growing my own salvia plant...anyone know where i can get the seed's I KNOW u can get it off the net but there is no way my rents will buy me random seeds off the net lmao they are pretty smart. Anyway i can get Salvia seeds @ a normal plant growing store etc? Do u think if i go into a nercerie and ask for a Salvia Divinorum plant they would have one?
Salvia seeds are extremely rare and they have very low germination rates. What most people do is they acquire either a salvia cutting, or an entire plant. You can get both online on ebay or at an online vendor. Cuttings require a bit more care at first, but they'll grow into a normal plant after a few weeks, and they are often much cheaper. It's difficult to get a cutting or plant from a non-online source unless you know someone that already has a plant and is willing to give you a cutting. Here's a link to the Salvia Divinorum Grower's Guide. It has all the information you'll need to grow your own Salvia plant. Also, I would NOT recommend buying a plant now as it's the winter months and the plant will most likely freeze to death in the mail. Any temperatures below 25 degrees F will kill a Salvia plant. http://designer-drugs.com/pte/12.162.180.114/dcd/chemistry/salvia.divinorum.growers.guide.html
What if i grow it in my room? I have normal plants in my room so thats why my mom wont care if i grow a plant in my room for "decoration" as i can say.... Im not planning on growing it outdoors , indoors we have a heated house. So im set via temerature wise. I just heard salvia doesnt need ALOT of light and doesnt need any special treatment like a marijuana plant would need to get high or better amounts of THC.
Yeah, Salvia can be grown indoors with no problem, it also just looks kinda like a mint plant (because both are from the family Lamiaceae). Just be sure to read the growers guide and be attentive to your plant's needs and you'll be fine!
I wish I could grow salvia divinorum as well, but there is a low chance of the seed germinating. It will take lots of work as well... I did find some seeds on this website, I'll try and find it... try salvia sage... It is very very rare to actually find salvia seeds if it's not on the net. People might just try to sell you something else for it. I'd suggest just buying off the internet and using a money order to pay so your parents don't know you bought them. Lol, I remember the lerk parents!
lmao well i was thinking next time i go to buy salvia ill ask the store owner , if he knows how i can get seeds. I thinking there might a store that sells them? becasue online = hard for me i still get it via mail rite.
