I thought this would be a good thread in here...

What are your dreams usually like? Do you find that your dreams hold true in real life... Or that they predict really good/bad events that are about to happen?

I find my dreams do usually bring my most true, honest subconscience feelings into the front of my head, when I don't want to admit it to myself. I'm also a lucid dreamer, where I can often control my dreams, which can be a great release for me. Its nice to have ahorrible day then be in a dream that feels so real, where I can fly or jump over mountains... It's crazy...

    So what about you guys?

My dreams can be very vivid, but only when I was younger did I have ones that were a premeditation of what was to come.

Once in particular, I had this dream I was in a car that pulled up to park in front of a light post that had a cement barrier around the bottom part of it, that was painted yellow. Later in the dream, I was walking down this white-painted hallway I had never seen before, and there were wooden doors off to the left side and all of them were closed, but on one was a yellow post-it note sticking out slightly from the door.

That next day, once I was awake, I went with my mother to visit a friend of our's lab (she was a scientist) at a University near where we lived. I had never in my life been to this place before. When we got there, she had to pull into the visitor's parking, and our car pulled into a park space which faced a light pole with a cement barrier that was painted yellow.
After meeting up with our friend, we followed her down a few hallways all painted white, and the one just before where her lab was had a row of wooden doors and on the 4th one in, there was a yellow post-it note stuck to the door and sticking out slightly from it. It was soooo freaky.
I hadn't thought anything of it when we parked at the lightpost, cause many of the parking lots in the area had those yellow-painted cement barriers; but when I saw the door with the post-it note stuck to it, I was sufficiently freaked out.

I've had a few other incidents similar to this, but nothing quite as profound in my mind as that first time I really remember being able to see something in a dream that happened right after I dreamed it.

    I don't dream when i'm asleep, well I don't remember them.
I like to let my mind wander while waiting or doing something though. that fills me with happy feelings. I pretend i'm actually doing things, bit childish hey? but thats me :D

Cannot remember dreaming for quite a long while now.

When I was a boy I woke up one night with the answer to a puzzle the family had been trying to solve earlier that night, couldn't find anything to write with so I drew the answer in the condensation on the window, of course whe I awoke it had disappeared.

I hate most of my dreams... they feel so real, that when I wake up I reflect on them for a good couple of hours or so and they leave me feeling very strange.

My dreams are often really disturbing too, I've had many dreams lately where I've woke up in a cold sweat and tears, which isn't usual for me. I havne't been able to sleep for more than 3 straight hours because of it the paste few weeks. I think a lot of it is stress, but man, it's just freaky. My dreams aren't not the most pleasant things in the world, but they're not normally this bad. It's scary how ones head can really fuck with a person, huh?

whay had a dream on tuesday night.

No drop that wahay, can't say I liked it.

Out with a group of people celebrating a forthcoming wedding, future husband and wife also. Found myself alone with the wife by her conivence, a face I know vaguely from the dance floor, and frolicking playfully trousers round my ankles when as she starts to open her blouse future hubby walks in the door, pull my trousers back up and with recepit of an evil look I awake.

    Not happy with that.
