i setup my wireless connection for my townhouse.

(if driving through springfield, the network name is "439#9bringbeer")

there are a couple other wireless networks around me, and my computer feels the need to frequently stop using my network, and switch to a nearby unsecured one. right as i typed that period, it did it.

why go from a signal of "Excellent" to "very low"? annoying...

The other signal night be on very low but give you more bandwith, just a thought...

Can you not stop your card from hopping around networks or set up a WEP encryption profile so that it can only log onto your network?
