How often do you say "I Love You" to non-lovers?

I say it only to my best friends...and not so often,but i guess they know it

 

i tell it to some often, other every now and again. and others not at all.

some people its easier to say it to cause they'll know how i mean it. others seem like they'd freak out..

You obviously haven't read the Bible. Or at least the New Testament....it is about nothing BUT love

 

Maybe it's because you only do have love for a certain few that makes it love, something more special than just a general emotion for all you get along with.

I dont know what deviated version you read or what stae of mind you were in....

you have to read the bible in its whole context, not just take one line and morph it to your liking (thats what every fundamentalist in EVERY religion does....hence the violence)

Yeah I should have realized I would cause some commotion with that. It's a personal thing- when I say the Bible I'm really refering to the old testemant, as the new one was a lot nicer. I mean, Jesus was a great guy, but I don't really like his Dad. But I'm not a Christian, so sometimes I throw around terms a little too much.

And I realize that there is certain love that you don't show everyone, I just think that it's a confusing concept to hide love sometimes, cause there aren't really any rules to it. I mean, what if you hide it too much, or too little? I don't know really, I'll get back to you once I learn how to talk.

And BTW I've read a lot of the Bible, but not as much as other people.

Funny thing, cause we were in class and one of my friends, she's real cool, rides a motorcycle and all, is talking to me and in the same breath, really fast, right in the middle of a sentence, it's like 'I love you'. So it took me some time to realise what she said so there were some silent seconds and she's looking, you know, and aww it was so cute. ^_^ I love her. I love them all.

 

I have read the bible in it's whole context. If you want specifics it was the NAS the first time through and KJV the second (though the 2nd time through I split it up in different sections). No, I was not high.

the danger in fundamentalism is not that they twist the scriptures, it's that they believe they are sole proprietors of the Way. they alone have the answers. Believe what I believe and live in eternal ectasy. Don't believe and suffer eternal damnation. In fact, if you don't believe (or believe something different), you are a threat to me. That's fundamentalism. That is why so many people have died over the millenias.
