My mother has been calling all day to see if her drugs were ready, finally at the end of the day the drug store told her they would be ready in half an hour, so we waited about an hour, then i went to pick them up for her. When I got there they looked and looked for them, the lady then went to the computer to look them up in the computer, came back and said my moms perscription got lost in the system, I thought what, my mom called an hour ago and you said they would be ready. So I wait and i wait and I wait. They brought some other drugs that they filled around front for other people and some other people come up to the counter and the lady says who here at the counter was here first, who is next, I simply reminded her in a nice maner that i was the first one there and was just waiting for my moms medicine. She looks at me and in an arguing tone says YOURS IS COMMING! pointing at me, I then thought, you fucking bitch! I had to bite my toung and trust me if anything more would have been said about it, a nice long line of curse words would have flew. Im the type of person who is normally always calm and cool but when I get pushed enough and my dander is up I storm like a category 5 hurricane.
A well put dialogue about how self important they must feel in their quasi lab coats would probably be more effective... But, I enjoy a good verbal assault with expletives as much as the next person. That's bullshit, I'd be pissed too.
Yeah..People have bad days. I confess, I'm still kinda pissed about some attitude I took recently at a local drugstore.
yah, but there is no excuse for a bad day if you work at a drugstore with all the pills that are available
Yeah, could have been, they were awfully busy. I held my temper under control in there. I just had to get on here and vent a little.:sunglasse
sometimes it takes a while to sort out lost files, particularly if their computer system is a little old (which it probably is) I mean, she overreacted, but maybe you did a little too? Fortunately no one really went nuts with it.
