Is firefox v2.0 slow ?????

I cant tell if its just my imagination or whether firefox 2 is quite slow compared to 1.5x - is anyone else getting this problem of pages taking longer -
I had uninstalled firefox and then installed the new version
maybe I need to clean out the registry or get a patch or something that I havent heard of??

 

I didn't noticed any speed problems with ff2 so far...

 

I put it back to firefox 1.5x and it went faster again but I'm still using 2.0 as its much safer and has better features in its control panel
Now that I think about it - I've stopped noticing how slow it is just cuz I like using it so much - seems less susceptible to errors
much better than 1.5x but a tiny bit slower is my thoughts
