i was wondering how some of you compare oxycodone to hydrocodone. which is better if either and whats the differnces. i've done both but idk if theres much of a difference but i wasn't trying to notice either so..toke
Well, I dont think there is any big difference, but I've noticed that I get more irritation and a more snappy additude when Im coming down from Vicodin as compared to Percocet. But tonight, I took Vicodin with Oxycontin, so I balanced it out! I can take Percocet or OxyContin alone and be fine, but I prefer to take Vicodin or any of the other Hydros with either beer or weed to mellow out and not get so annoyed easily.
Oxy is supposed to be slightly more potent. I don't notice any real difference either though. BTW RELAYER, your sig is crazy cool.
Hey, thanks ESP! OxyContin is not really more potent, it has a time release so that it lasts longer (plus it comes in dosages of up to 80 mg's ) I dont know if they still make the 160's, I've only seen them in person once, this kids dad weighed like a million pounds and he had them in his room when I was a youngn and didnt know what opiates were! If only I had known......................
I didn't mean Oxycontin, I meant Oxycodone, which I think is more potent than hydrocodone, should have been a bit clearer But mmmm 160mg oxycontin would be amazing. You'd be high for like a week if you just popped it. Course I'd rather bust it up and just get really really high for a few shorter times.
If by "better" you mean stronger, then oxycodone is slightly stronger, but just slightly. The main advantage of oxycodone over hydrocodone, in my opinion, is that the dosage of acetaminophen is generally lower in the most commonly prescribed stregth of oxycodone, which is 5/325 (5mg oxycodone/325mg acetaminophen) as opposed to the most commonly prescribed strength of hydrocodone which is 5/500 (5mg hydrocodone/500mg acetaminophen). But it really just depends on the person and how well you tolerate each drug. Different strokes for different folks and what not...
