flight schools anyone in here a pilot or working on becoming a pilot flight has always fascinated me.... ive always thoght it would be cool to be a pilot but never really considered it when i was thinking about going to school...
There are a number of schools around the country including Embry Riddle School of Aeronautics, and one I know of here in Kansas at Kansas State University's extension school of aerospace science in Salina, KS. I considered all of these along with the Air Farce Academy...(spelling intentional), but found a different academic direction. I did attend an FAA approved ground school test prep class and have around 6 hours logged with an instructor. The main problem with this area of study or recreation, is that it is very cost prohibitive, so you better get a lot of scholarships and/or loans, or have a rich uncle or something. Anyway, flight is awesome, very freeing, I hope this gives you some direction. And if it is the direction you choose to go academically, know that yes the costs are high for this type of schooling, but after you get out the financial payback is more than substantial to negate those costs....plus you get to be a pilot, Id love that, and may go back sometime in the future and pursue this avenue. Much love.....follow your dreams
