need some help pretty please with cherrys on top

    I'm going to somewhere in CA next year for a holiday because I'm an AA member here so I was able to get a AAA card which gives me discounts trouble is I find the site confusing I'm looking for a cheap places to stay but not sure where they are as there is not little map thing or something to give you an idea it fine if you live there, I was wondering where abouts in CA I should go and whats there I'm not into all the tourist stuff I just want to hang out and enjoy your summer and have a good time :) also travel I don't drive hows getting around over there? Anything else you can tell would be fantastic :)

    anyhelp at all would be very very much appreciated :)

    tried that it sunk no one answered in your not old I put it here as I thought people with more experience could help me better lol oh well I sort it out somehow

    California is all tourist.AAA doesn't always get the best deal.Check hotels.com,expedia etc.The reason We have so many tourists is because this state has everything.Come off season and do things early morning to miss the crowds.Without a car you might want to try the coastal rail system,though that can be expensive.
    Tahoe's great.Stay in the campgrounds.

    When we stayed in the camp grounds in Lake Tahoe, there were these freaks running around getting into our stuff and burning picnic tables and partying all night. When I went over to ask them to keep it down, I ended up getting wasted myself. There was this one guy siffing white gas (That's the coleman gas for outdoor stoves) I never saw him after that night.

    is there any where else other than california that I should consider going? basically my criterea is that it doesn't snow in winter lol just somewhere thats always warm I just thought you know I know nothing about the states california sounds about right, whats san fransisco {sorry can't spell it} like esp expense wise :) a big thankyou to everyone whos posted so far :)

    sedona arizona.Lots of energy there.S.F. is expensive.
