This is kinda weird but here it goes.

Last night I felt a pressure or a kind of energy going down the lower part of my arm into my hand. Kinda like the feeling of having it fall asleep but with out the "prickles" or "needle feel" you get. When this happened, as it got stronger, my hand clenched up (or was it already? I'm not sure) and I couldn't move it. This lasted I think maybe 5 minutes until it went back to normal. All day today my hand has felt kinda weird and it almost felt like it was gonna happen again once today.

This happened one time before like 2 years ago but it happened to both of my hands and lasted longer. Has anyone heard of this?

Go to the doctor... as soon as possible...paralysis could be a sign of spinal cord injuries You should check with your doctor before it gets worse/

I went to the emergency room last night because my face, and my lips especially, started tingling and my hand started to clench up even though it didn't fully, like the other night. They said I might have peripheral neuropathy which can or can not be serious. I have to see a neurologist to find out.

And I just started working on my paper about holistic medicine being better than conventional. Trust me this brings in a whole new line of questions. Does my insurance cover it (I doubt it). How do I find a trustworthy healer. Should I use it in conjunction with conventional methods. I don't know.... I'll just have to research some more.

My friend had the same condition. She had a series of tests. The doctor found out she lacks potassium in her body. So she ate bananas (potassium source) every day.

If it's mostly on one side you may have contracted Bell's Palsy. Have you recently had the flu or a similar illness?
