Drinking Absinthe

I had absinthe when I was buzzing on E..
I also had it a few days later. Nothing special, a nice feeling a pleasantly mellow buzz. I couldn't say it felt exactly like any other beer or liquor, but these stories about people seeing green fairies and loosing their sanity make me quite frankly piss myself laughing.

 

well, 1, I can afford it so I dont really care..and 2) I live in the usa so we dont have it at the local store...I dont mind paying the price for good stuff...

The vast majority of other places do rip you off, carry bogus drinks meant for the curious college party crowd, and don't guarantee delivery.
$200 is legit price for about 2 and 1/2 bottle, plus courier.

yes, it's strong. yes, it's green. yes, it tastes good. yes, it gets you pissed. yes, it contains wormwood. no, it's not psychedelic. and no, it's not worth 200 bucks.

 

I never said it was psychedelic, just someting diff. to try...and 200$ to me is like 20$ to most people...so i dont mind..i enjoy the taste, i enjoy the ritual, i enjoy the effects, and I live in Las Vegas where my friends and i have very sophisticated absinthe parties in places like cesars palace, tuscanny, the venetian..etc..we get a suite for about 350-500$ a night and sit around drinking the stuff talking the night away. just a mellow group of about 8-12 ppl. hit thta casinos...go see a show or two...walk around the strip..ahh the lights

 

we do that in people's homes with beer, booze and weed. much cheaper, less classy though.

i don't think they make that stuff anymore though... and even if they do it should be pretty hard to get

 

well i live in the NAZI POLICE State or the USA...so i will never see that stuff again...but if i lived in the pacific north west i would be growing some poppies annd make it myself...I live in Nevada and they just wont grow here

 

They still make something similar and all you need is a doctors presciption.

Has anyone tried the Absinth cocktail called 'The Green Fairy'?..It's not so much a cocktail, but a different way of serving it.

Best Absinthe, in my opinion, is Hill's Absinth. Czech.

oi, different people react differently to the same thing. So remember that everyone.

 

i drank 7 shots of 70% absinth and a scotch and half a beer in 4.5 hours, after taking ritalin all day. i was in a bar type place, stacked it a few times, lucky i wasnt kicked out. ended up doin a runner on a taxi which wouldve cost me $30

good night... all ill drink now is absinth. 60AU for a bottle of 70% green fairy.
i like it. no hallucinations no matter how much you seem to drink.
