No offense at all...because you are correct. Alot of USians forget that 2/3s of this country is filled with racist,mysogynistic bigots that sit around in the sticks and preach about the evil homosexuals. Ohio is filled with millions of them. Cleveland is the only city where the KKK meets the harshest criticism when they have their rallies.Columbus barely put up a fight and Cincinasty?? The police were attacking the protesters. I have been through places where the only non-whites these people have seen are on TV. and what a great image our media projects of them. *rolls eyes* People wonder why guys like Bush become president? Go ask the people in Iowa, Nebraska, Mississippi, and Idaho. They'll tell you clearly and frankly. California and New York are but 2 states out of 50 and hardly represent the average American in the entire Mountainous, Midwest and southern states.
Ya...try living in Texas Actually, here in Austin it isn't bad though. But I agree, I am from the midwest, and have heard more bigotry than I would like to. Even from my own father! It's a shame, really.
Boy am I glad I live on the east coast... and I thought there were nothing but closed minded idiots here.
