Sari Silk Earflap Hat

    I made this hat yesterday out of sari silk and doubled up merino wool. I love chunky knit hats! I added andean style earflaps and crocheted edging for special touches.
    The pic of me wearing it kind of sucks because my 3 year old son and I were wrestleing and wouldn't ya know it, mommy got hurt! Little boys have really hard noggins! Lol.

    That is beautiful and it looks so warm.

    And..I can totally relate to kids accidentally hurting mommies..my daughter gave me a black eye last week. :eek: I was putting her to bed and was leaning down to give her a kiss right as she sat up really fast. Her hard head made a direct hit with my eye and she left me with a beautiful shiner. I looked like I was in a bar room fight. :lol:

    Nice hat. :) I really think that yarn is lovely. And nice boo-boo. I have had a few child inflicted injuries myself. The worst was when Meleah stepped really heavily on my toe that lost the nail, while I was barefoot and she had on boots. Ouch!
