http://media.putfile.com/Morning-glory-97 we finally recorded a song... its at a lot of places now but here is a link to it... home recorded , vocals and everything if you dont like hardcore experimental/weird/space music, skip the first minute and a half. but seriously man, its fuckin great. dont skip it. (warning: may cause acid flashback )
pretty trippy pink floyd-esque song, sounds very much like it came from you only thing is...it has the same riff from that no doubt song that i don't know the name of or that moby song with gwen stefani, whichever, i don't really know edit: but this is just towards the beginning the song as a whole is nice, and it's pretty damn good for being "home-recorded" unless that just means you have fancy recording equipment at home but either way, it was pretty damn good
thanks dudes .. my drummer has a 300$ recording thing ... thats all ... it sounded fuck better at our show though. the quality... but we had the chance to add effects on this version which is nice although i have no idea about that nodoubt/moby song lol. thats funny
man. id appreciate some more feedback... i wanna get some comments from strangers, so i really know how ppl who dont know me or my band will feel towards our music. thank you
well i like it for this type of music, its pretty damn good you hear that from a person who listen mostly to reggae and drum n bass,so yeah man that was good .
this is damn good man. it like old school with a bit more of an edge. post more songs i'll definetely listen to them man.
Creeped me out at first. Thought it was rather progressive, yet classic, though you have a strong Moby-esque feel.
I liked it. I like the intro with the different sounds and the backwards vocals. The rest of the song is great too-I like the vocals/lyrics and the lead guitar a lot. Which parts did you play? Who sang?
i played the keyboards/synths , some weird back vocals, and the part with guitar slides in the 2nd spot with vocals. one of my friends does both vocals and lead guitar. im glad u liked it
Cool, I like it, its good listening. It kinda sounds slightly derivative though. Like a cross between Iron maiden style guitar play and almost mars volta effects. I think you could have far more energy in your riffs especially, it seems almost like you're holding back. Well thats probably what I would do. But Its just my opinion, dont listen to me, Im just some fuckwit from New Zealand...
From what I've heard so far, it reminds me much of a bad trip that seems to get better when you start to settle down. I like it.
thanks for the comments dudes, and rabbit. i agree about that energy thing... we're re-recording the song though to modify the timing that wasnt 100% tight and that intensity stuff... and more songs
Yess, that'd be me. It's weird you say that, second person today who told me I look just like someone, haha.
