Probably "Hippie", for the photos. He used to manage part of a shop called "Better Books" in Charing Cross Road in London. Ginsberg did a reading there mid-Sixties. So did Harry Fainlight, legend of the British Underground. I went looking for the site of the old shop to put a photo on my website, but I couldn't find it...
I have the Book HIPPIE and it is great and i love it so much I also have a Thread going about the book check it out
Miles seems to have turned into a one-man industry, tirelessly chronicling the beat/hippie/underground scenes of the 50s/60s. I have his "Paul McCartney: Many Years from Now" which is a good read and makes much of Paul's "underground" connections. I might have his Ginsberg book, though it's hard to be sure as my flat's a bit chaotic at the moment.
I lent out my copy of Hippie a long time ago, but guess what! I got it again for Christmas from my parents. I love the pictures in it but its also a really interesting read.
