I really want to buy a mooncup....I'd like to hear some experiences from you sisters before i splash out the last 20 quid from my bank account...

How convenient is it to use one? is it too messy?

I would never use a thing like this, the idea puts me off completely. Don't know why!

i just got a diva cup this last cycle... i loved it : )
its really not messy.. no worrying about changing tampons every few hours..you can't feel that its there at all... you dont get all dried out.. plus you stay cleaner down there i found. its really worth the money... give it a try : )

I bought one, and I am kind of eagerly waiting for my period to actually try it. I fitted it yesterday, and wore it for a couple of minutes to get used to it, and to try to put in in and out, and I LOVE this device. But the final test ist still due....

Im excited about the Diva Cup but Im having so much trouble with it. It is the second day that I have had it, and its sooooo uncomfortable and leaking.

It basically feels like it keeps falling out and giving me crampy type annoyances. So Im not sure If I should push it in farther or if it is angle wrong. They said make sure the little tip is even with the vaginal opening....Does that mean the lips itself or the v hole itself?? But then they said dont push it too far back..... ARGHKLSDJKLJAKLFKLSJ!!!!

HELP! Im going to go adjust it now.

Even with the vaginal hole, not your lips.

Don't worry, Cosmic B. My first month was frustrating as hell. It took me a couple of months to really get into it. But I equate it to when you first start menstruating as a girl and are learning pads/tampons. The first couple of times are annoying, and you bleed all over the place, but eventually you get the hang of it! :D

I love my mooncup. I used to have a divacup and could not get the hang of it after like a year, still would have leaks and stuff, so I switched to mooncup and have not had one leak both periods I've used it for so far. it's awesome.

not much, really; the shapes and sizes are a tiny bit different. I've read from a lot of women that if either the divacup or mooncup didn't work for them, if they switched they'd never have a problem again, so I thought I'd give it a try.
I have no idea why switching works, but it does.

Thanks family dog! I don't know much about them and know even less about the brand differences. Would you recommend them to other women?

    Peace and love

oh yeah, I deffinitely recommend them. after you get the hang of it, it's awesome. you barely ever have to worry about it. I have a pretty heavy period, and I only have to change it maximum three times a day, as opposed to five-six times a day with pads. no mess, once you figure out how to take it out without spilling, not to mention you never have to buy any pads or worry about washing reusables, plus no garbage. I don't see any down sides.
