Last night I was pretty drunk and pretty stoned. Good mix. Unless you're biking down a wet, slick hill with NO BRAKES. I did, then I turned sideways and slammed straight into my friend's bike and I flew across the ground.

I landed on my elbow really hard (I still had the momentum from hitting my friend's bike at 25 kmh) and I jammed my shoulder up, and it fuckin hurts like hell today.

I smoked a jay, the pain went away. I love it.

I dont think marijuana kills pain at all, or cure anything for that matter. I think it just relieves the stress accociated with it, making you kinda forget about it. Just offering relief.

Like for example... that calamine (sp?) lotion for poison ivy... it doesnt kill the pain or get rid of the poision ivy rash itself, it just eases the itching accociated with it.

Anyways.. its all in how you look at it I guess.

pick your own medicine, i suppose. it takes away my headaches, stomachaches. i also get really restless legs at night (in bed), they feel like they itch from the inside, and weed makes me forget about it entirely :).

my girlfriend who is very anti-pot will even smoke when she has stomatch issues.
I always try to have a little bit stashed away somewhere, away from my normal stash, just in case I get sick or something, and I would normaly be dry.

I'm currently having some serious issues with overproduction of bile in my gall bladder and it's terribly painful. While drinking lots of apple juice has helped to cut down on the pain a little bit, it's still not really enough. I'm very medicini-phobic (yay-made-up-words!) and avoid pharmaceutical painkillers as often as I can. So to help me cope with the gall bladder attacks, I've been smoking up and have found it very, very helpful. :) It's helped me to sleep as well. Without it, the discomfort in my right side is so intense that it hurts even to lay down.

    Also good for menstrual cramps!

dude i was going down a wet, slick hill the other day on my bike, with NO BRAKES as well...but i made it to the bottom(while coming inches from a car) before i turned on my side and slid like 20 feet lol...it was pretty fun. such an adrenaline rush

anyway, i find weed helps with some internal pains(i.e. stomach aches) but not so much that i would substitute it as a pain killer. and smoking with a headache just makes it worse for me.

Alot of pain is due to anxiety. It goes like this, you get hurt, this makes you anxious, this anxiety increases the pain, making you more anxious and so on and so on. It's a pretty vicious cycle.
I'm having some pain issues right now (dentist fucked up a tooth and now it's infected), and have found that pot makes it easier for you to forget, and thus is able to "put the brakes" so to speak on the cycle.... no pun intended...
Didja know that in the states riding a bicycle drunk can be treated the same way as driving a car drunk?

I had an infection in my leg which turned into a running infection up my leg. Went to the doctors, they bled it and gave me some antibiotics. Two weeks later I have another infection starting about an inch and a half away. This time I just got really high off my Hookah, put some rubbing alcohol on my pocket knife, and cut that shit open myself and drained it. Barely felt it. Somewhere between being high as all hell and the immense relief of easing the pressure in my leg I didn't really feel much pain at all. MY operation healed up nicer than the doctor's did too...

it´s definitely my #1 choice as a hangover cure. takes away the feeling of nausea, if you´ve got it.

and if i´m sick, i´ll try to only use a vaporizer to get high... or eat it, too, i guess. smoking makes things like colds and sore throats worse for me, but vaping has no adverse effects like that.

marijuana is not a pain killer; it's a mild analgesic. it will also affect your psychological interpretation of the pain, which further relieves the aches and pains by way of attentional mechanisms.

well, any regular chemical painkiller, you feel good for an hour then usually it comes back. and you have to take more medicine. but with weed it goes away [at least for me]. and maybe it just relieves stress like some say and enough time goes by for the pain to go away naturally. but if you have a minor injury then eventuually the pail will come back, but its better than any pill i know. it did wonders with my wisdom teeth!

PS. it's fuckin great for headaches!
