So I'm going to be in Amsterdam for a few hours on route to the states, coming from Africa. I've heard stories about people buying bud and mailing it to themselves-- anyone know anything about this? yea or nay? either way I'm gonna buy a bunch of space cakes and bring those on the plane.

Funny to see this, I was in the same situation about 6 months ago. Ok, first you can definetly mail it to yourself. My best advice is to get a chocolate egg, you can find these in the dutch supermarkets, open the package carefully, cut the egg in half with a razor blade, put the baggy in the egg, seal it up with a blow dryer, put it back in the box, and super glue the box shut. Also, DO NOT MAIL IT FROM AMSTERDAM. They will check, try a different country. This definetly works as I came home to a nice package in my mailbox. About the space cakes, you can easily take these on the plane. I just wrapped mine up in plastic wrap and put them in my purse. I got so blasted on the plane that I fell into someone's seat on my way to the bathroom. There was no turbulance. Happy flying!
yeah, i dont think space cakes would really smell that much, if at all. or maybe they do. it´s one of those things that you can easily cover up, though. have it with some other food (like a "packed lunch" or something) and maybe even re-wrap it so it doesnt look like it was purchased in a coffeeshop. also, how long exactly are you going to be in Amsterdam? i´d say you would need at least 3-4 hours (although, maybe more) to ride the train to the center of the city, find a coffeeshop and get some weed, package the weed somehow, mail it, then get you´re ass back to the airport with enough time to get to your gate in Schiphol (and they always want you to be there long before the flight leaves). now figure in smoking great weed before doing all of that. the train ride alone is probably about half an hour, although that´s just my guess. i tried mailing some back once... never made it. nothing bad ever came of it, but it never made it. if you have the time, i´d say just enjoy yourself for as long as you can. find a coffeeshop or two, walk around, maybe buy some cool shit, whatever. but if you are going to mail it, put it in a low-profile envelope, not a package. get it as smell-free as you can and put something else in there so it´s not just an envelope of weed. try and not do the obvious thing because that´s what everyone else does, so that´s what they´re looking for.
oh, another thing i wanted to say that´s related to this topic: If you´re traveling with weed from Holland and going by train or something, at a place where they would be checking people for drugs and whatnot (train stations, border crossings, etc) put your shit in the bottom of a ibg bag of chips that you´re eating. who would think to check someone´s food that they´re currently putting into their mouth?
I have an 8 hour layover, so I'm thinking there's enough time to get the cake, the bud, and a blowjob before i get back on the plane... Do you really think I can't mail it from Amsterdam? I don't think I have enough time to go to a different country, but what if I mail it from the airport (which is supposedly a 20-minute train ride away).
