I ask because, when I buy, I want to know if it's good or bad. So what are clues as to the quality of weed?

There's no way you can tell without smoking it, or talking to someone else who's bought the same weed from the same guy.
I've seen "sparkly" weed that had been sprayed with sugar water to make it sparkly. I've seen delicious looking, stoney smelling buds that barely got me high.
Best way to be sure of the quality of weed is to grow it.

I wouldnt go by smell either... like looks, and can usually tell you if its good or bad, but not always. I've had the dankest smelling weed that was just mids, and I've had crazy stuff, what I have right now, that doesnt smell like a whole lot. I would rather go by crystals than anything else; you just gotta make sure they really are thc, but most of the time its the real thing, I dont usually have to worry about them being some fake sprayed on crap.

    1. THC crystals

    2. alot of red/orange hairs

    3. and if you can smell it through the bag

those are basic ways to tell between shitty weed and good weed

^^ his advice most of the time... but if i'm ever unsure, smell is the most important, even over crystals sometimes
