there is no possible way I could sit here and type every book I have at home. I'm going to open a used book store and have been saving all of my books since I started college five years ago and I have read every last one of them. awsome that you can name every book you have that's dedication. I once knew a lady who was in her 70's she kept three ring note books of every book she had ever read so she could read as many books as possible in her life.
Absolutely no way I could manage this, even the "casual fiction" would get out of hand, let alone the rest of the library. Let's just hit the high points by genre: sci-fi, fantasy, mystery, gemology, fine arts, Egyptology, animals & animal behavior, theatre, history, geography, cooking, herbology, gardening, reference books, and plenty of miscellaneous items. That doesn't even touch on my grandfather's library that's still crated up in my studio.
There are a lot of advantages of taking the 3-4 hours to type up some of your book inventory besides the sharing aspect here which I hope may spark an interest in a new subject to read about. You can notate when you read them and then in a couple of years read them again if you like. You have an insurance record along with a video if your place ever burns. You can go online and auction them if you want to. You can FIND them, lol. (without looking sideways at the binders) I started doing some magazines and stacking them in boxes stacked sideways listed left to right, if I feel like a Smithsonian read on the fly, dammut, I don't wanna be looking for them for a half hour. hahahaha peace y'all bookworm dingbats

interesting titles iffy, it's gonna take me a month of sundays to get all my books for sale on the book and music page at www.honorseed.com.........
Ouch, some long lists there. I started doing something like this, but I could never get enough will together to finish. I have a LOT of books. Though I've only had 18 years to collect them I read almost constantly. Mostly they're the only presents I get, so my collection has built quite steadily. Mostly fantasy and science-fiction. Ach, I hope to get a website going which'll allow me to catalouge my books. Soon after Christmas.
I's a light traveler, so all I have with me right now is some Vonnegut, some Kerouac, some Wolfe, some zen books (including the great Zen and the Art of Motorcycle maintanance), some Tolstoy, some Garcia Marquez, and 4 or 5 other random ones.
No way I could list all of my books. My DH keeps telling me we're gonna have to buy a separate house to keep them in. I have books stacked everywhere. Kitchen, garage bathroom, bedroom, attic, closets, everywhere. I love to read. (as if you couldn't tell)
I like this idea, it's nice to see what books others are reading. When I get in the mood, maybe tonight, I'll list the books I have
