Rumsfeld could face criminal charges over prisoner abuse.

I hope the German courts allow it to go through. But I suspect it will be squashed, before anything can be done.

All U.S politicians that massacre people are - so is their army - they never signed up to the agreements whereby any politician or soldier that commits war crimes can be tried in the intrnational courts -
Strange that - since they are so active in making sure everyonelse gets theirs in international courts. Why - if only the USA would string rhumsfeld up for his crimes against humanity the rest of the world might believe the USA when it says it believes in justice

Yea, these ultra-conservatives are always griping about how the UN is so 'anti-American', but in actuality the US is the single most powerful and influential member of that body. If we want somebody tried in the international courts, we'll make sure it happens. The rest of the time they're griping about how 'anti-American' those bodies are. The first person that oughta be tried is Bush, but that'll never happen. He's just gonna pass the sceptre to Queen Condoleeza I in 2008.

He is just following the orders from Bush.

Think he is either a escape goat or simply fired for not wishing to become
more of a war criminal, let us see how the new one will act in Iraq, then it will be very clear to us.

Bullshit...he Ashcroft and Wolfowitz and others were the designers of this war through the PNAC. It's time they took responsibility for it. The fact that he's the last one standing just proves to me that he hadn't been duly recompensed yet. He'll probably receive his rewards through increased revenues to his bird flu vaccine company.

And don't turn your back on little Condelezia Rice she'll get her return on investment as well.

The people responsible for this war have become extremely wealthy by it. What has the little man gained? They have lost their sons and daughters, as have the Iraqi people. And our nation has been plunged into deficit. But they will all live out their lives in luxury. We will have to scramble to pay our utility bills, and have no stability or equilibrium in our lives, but we are told this promotes our stock markets and banks.

Let's continue to deregulate and create havoc in the world....that works for the common man doesn't it?

Was it only me or was anyone else outraged to watch Lebanese civilians killed while the US stood back and watched Israel bomb Lebanon? Condi was following the outline of the PNAC they had already made their statement that Israel should be allowed to destroy whatever they deemed necessary.

PNAC went underground in 2005, don't think they aren't wielding thier influence... they are. But they are now sheltered under conservative think tanks, that are held as authority documentation to proposed ideas. Reports will be referred to, studies will be discredited, but do the research and the same people are trying to guide the progress of the world and the banking industry.

It's time for us to stand up and say NO!
