I had the wierdest dream last night....I'm only awake an hour but I'm already forgetting parts. From what I can remember, I was with a group of people I know from a camp I go to every year. Our boat was shipwrecked and we were clinging to floating wood for a while...then we spotted the island and got onto the beach...we lay there not knowing what to do for a while, but then I ventured up a path with a knife and some sort of leopard that could talk was there...I then knifed him to death which was so horrible..that shook me.. Then we saw huge waterfalls....everyone was delighted....we began to make a camp with tents and fences and a portaloo (?)....someone was handing around a bong with a straw on the end with hot whiskey in it....the waterfall was flowing budweiser and there was a secret hidden hot shower in the rocks....thats about it...it freaked me out...especially the tiger killing part Can anyone shed any light please?
Hi Luke, i guess you've had a lot more dreams since ... but let me throw some thoughts your way and you see what you can make of it. For example, what is a dream's meaning and does it change, when in the morning the world wakes to unfold to you and it is just like it yawns and stretches, and takes you in with a sigh of relief. And wondering if the dream was real you just notice that something has changed, and yet it is still you. I believe that dreams are places of energy exchange where you tap into the deeper sources of yourself to create and form the images from in an immidiate way and without a need to explain. Not all are yours for ever, nor have they been. They may be yours for a blink as long as you gaze in wonder, knowing you are the experience while you change with the energy flowing. You are the energy and as you are created, you create. There is just movement while we seek to remember who we are, and be more and not limited are we. And so nothing is really missing as we are connected to all that is ... strange if we were not. The dream images are like road signs then on the way home, where home is but the journey, reminding you of who you are, in all your dreaming and waking adventures. But once awake the mind wants to know it has done a good job and longs for a friendly pat on the shoulder. And so you seek for a meaning, while deeper inside you just know. You seek for safety and fool's paradises while tigers stalk to ally with you. Even the conflict is just an exchange of energy. The questions help you to dock to dreamtime. The answers help you to find you are already there. So this is always a choice, too. You are your own light, darkness and steps on the road. You are the salvaging raft, lost and found in the sea of a greater dream. You are the secret, and you are the wonder, and you are the key. Geez let me stop now this is getting longer and longer ... how did we start?
