I'm going to get lunch with a girlfriend this afternoon, maybe some shopping and a man/ped. Then I'm gonna do some laundry and cram for my spanish exam that is on Monday.
Next week I have school, am baking pies for thanksgiving and am going to my grandmas on turkey day. We have family from abroad that is coming in and I was gone last thanksgiving so I am really thankful to be spending this one with my family :)

Tonight, I have just sat at home with the family watching Walking Tall.
Monday its back to work. Britt is receiving a Jockey Club award for volleyball so i am taking an extended lunch.
Turkey Day=family coming over. The women will be of course bitching about the men and the men will be playing poker and drinking beer. Trevor will be up for the weekend, which is hella cool as he has not been able to make it home much since he is doing reconasince (SP) training.

i'll be masturbating most of the day, followed by the consumption of massive amounts of alcohol and possibly nude dancing around a fire in my backyard. the police station being next door has absolutely no effect on any of this.

eagerly anticipating my new eyeglassess. for the turkey day thing jackie will be eating over at mom's so she can have some company without having to hobble hobble the six blocks to our place and hobble hobble or get a ride back.

trying to get the rest of her dishes done and back to her in time for that, between whatever else occurs in my life, including the time i spent(/waste?) on this thing.

maybe getting some n-scale flex to match the railweight used by kato's unitrack, to lay the six foot bridge section that crossess the head of our bed to expand the dressertop and clossetdoor to the distant village of otherdresser.

basicly the same thing i do every week: picking up after wifie and playing on this thing, with maybe the occasional bit of gardining and model building, that sort of thing, thrown in. who knowns, maybe somewhere in there i'll be able to make some sort of time to go someplace with her. although that would take away from the all to scarce blessed time i get to be alone and actualy able to do anything (again mostly playing on here. well not just HERE, but on the net and offline on this machine, making pictures with blender and autocad or playing with 3d railsim rtr and building immaginary worlds in that too)

you really wanted to know, right?
being an omnivour leaning toward carnivour i will most likely be eating whatever
meals on wheels brings mom's house enough of.

in any event i'm NOT going to be cooking a turkey. (nor, appearantly, cooking at all, according to wifie's plan. don't get me wrong, they both like my cooking and so do i. it's just nice for once to be able to let someone else worry about all that this year.)

oh, i'm informed mom's out of catfood again (for all the ferral cats and skunks and stray who knows what all else her landlady would love to evict her for but somelawers from the law school for a project managed to prevent her from doing)

well that's it for now. reality constantly subject to chainge without notice of course.
personaly i could live without hollidays and events, though i love for people to have good intentions. i just wish it didn't take an out of the ordinary occasion for them to do so.

I am going home tomorrow and will be spending time with my fam until next Monday or Tuesday. I will see some friends and then be back here after that. So one last day with my friends here because everyone is going home for break. I am going to Parkersburg with a group of people today, should be fun.

Canadian thanksgiving was a while ago..... so already did the whole turkey thing....

This week though I'm over-knitting... I've got a craft show coming up on Saturday that I'm not prepared for at all.... so going mental. Also, getting ready for my trip to France, so eagerly shopping for last minute items and packing.... stress!

I find n-scale too small for my liking. I've been sticking with HO myself. about to expand big time and over take my wifes junk in our basement. 3 4x8 sheets of plywood expansion this time. perhaps I spend too much time on this. do you play MSTS at all?

h.o. runs way smoother, wish i had a basement. there's a so called garage space that's like how you describe your basement. i do have a bit of an h.o. loop on supports hung from the rafters in it because i can't even get to the floor for all the boxes of crap in the way.

i don't have msts or bve or trainz. i did have a cab sim from some guy in poland that was free. i forget the name of it. it was based on their en57 class emu's. but it was dos based and had kind of low rez gx. i used to play with it all the time on the old win95 that would let me run dos with no problem (other then 95's own problem of crashing all the time)

i've seen sites with lots of lovely add ons for msts. as for trainz. bve appearently requires some sort of os mod to run, or so everything i've heard about it says. brainbomb's rtr is pretty goodthough. excepting a few rather funkey things about it. but it does allow nonflat countryside pretty good and that's important to me. the basic and fully functional part of it is free and one time $15.00 covers all existing and forseeable future expansions. all objects have skins that are completely user replacable, but their shape tables are not. unlike trainz, which, from what i understand, you can actualy add your own geometry of objects too.

i've also used bahn. up through 3.84beta. but i've never gotten arround to coughing up the 80dm he wants for it. whatever the hell 80dm = in u$d's. plus bahn's 2.5d leaves much to be desired, although as a complex system sim, it goes way beyone what anyone could ever have a basement big enough for. bahn is even capable of running real proffesional planning sims for real world systems. and i guess 80dm is less then what the proffesional system planning simms i've looked at too go for.

but back to msts. last i looked it was down to 30bux. but that was last i knew of before it seems to have been orphaned completely. if it's floating arround out there somewhere for free, on account of having been abondoned, ... well i may some day get a hold of it.

i would really really like for my own geometry to be transportable into some sort of real time 3d. blender has a game engine but i haven't learned how to create with that part of it and from what i've seen and run of it, it's still pretty lame. blender is however a proccess and completely open and free and being improved all the time.

something that can't be said for my cashflow for hardware, either for software to run on. nor the real world kind either.
