So the other night I had this really life-like dream (always have them after a night of heavy drinking). I had to take care of a dog, a cat, a fox, a tiger, and an armadillo. It didn't go down too well, they were not being particularly easy to manage. The armadillo ran off and I chased after it. I picked it up and it's claws went into my arms! I kept hurting more and more and I saw tiny green and purple crystals emerging on my wounds. After that I started tripping! Just went around not knowing what was happening.

I woke up this morning and immediately started surfing like a mad about armadillos, convinced they're poisenous. Turns out they're not. So I guess I'm just insane ^^.

Anyone care to hit me with some interpretation? Usually I know pretty well what my dreams are all about, but this one just doesn't make very much sense to me, except the tripping part (did trip acid several days ago).

i would say just the unmanagability of responsibilities life sometimes thrusts at us. unmanagability in the sense of direct control, because in real life that does not exist anyway. that your subconscous has made up its mind to convince itself that responsibility is not possible, which is not exactly accurate, we can and do manage our lives by choosing actions and policies on the bassis of observable probabilities.

of course people do sometimes get injured, loose face, even get reviled and ostracised for doing so, for living up to their moral responsibilities. somehow we live in a society so perverse as to do so.

i could go into all the political reasons this is so, how it could be chainged, how important it is to attempt to do so. perhapse one of those moral responsibilities itself.

reality is 'herded' by the incentives we collectively create, not by attempting to micromanage the details (chaising after the armadillo)

    (armadillo - armoured - military?)

odd physical effects of attempting to control the armadillo, well certainly it is the nature of much we are surrounded by to be into things that even its own one hand lacks entirely clear understanding of what its other hand is doing.

i think that's what the odd effect of the armadillo's claws is representing.

Woah, that sounds pretty convincing. My life's been pretty uncontrolable in the moment (mind you, I'm battling the harsh realities of the menial UK work-force), and I haven't been certain and clear about much recently.

Wow....that all makes a lotta sense. Thanks ^^.
