I ate a bunch of 2c-e and I feel like throwing my guts up. (Not a big surprise it happens more or less every time I eat alot of 2c-e). Anyone have any good methods of making yourself not need to puke as bad or at all? Also I agree 2cesarewild that this does indeed have an effect on the bowels when used in heavy amounts over a short period. It is not neccesarily harder to take a shit but something has been up with my bowels and I see it as a direct result of using this drug so much over such a short period. Edit: Slightly changed my opinion on the bowel thing I was extremly high when I wrote the last version and was paranoid, much like the observant poster below me suggests.
Note: Both of us also used 2c-e many times over a short period of time so that probably plays in there someplace.
i know of people who would eat 2ce 20 days out of the month and not experence any bad side effects. I think alot could just be paranoia. I also think that they can cause bad side effects. I have never had digestve problems but i do get stomach cramps and stuff from rc's. I also get the same effects from mushrooms though.
I have been eatting it ALOT these past two months, to the point I am sorta glad I finally ran out. The first month I felt fine and wrote 2cesarewild off as being paranoid etc etc, but after this second month I can for sure feel my bowels have changed in some way. that's the body load that seems to be integral with many phenethylamines. one of the coolest things I learned on hipforums, is that ginger pwns nausea. propranolol kills it too.
Am I just tripping my balls off or are they really doing a study where 2c-e is looked at from an antidepressant point of view? I seem to remember this from someplace but can't put my finger on where so am about to write it off as nonesense my brain is putting together, heh/.
Ok I feel better now and am stabalized, heh. I still say that when used in large amounts over a short period of time this drug has a definite effect on the bowels that lasts several days or more after the last time you used it, but I retract what I said before seeing as it may have been a bit too extreme. (I was trying to take a shit and couldn't but I think maybe no shit was to be had and I was just paranoid and trying to hard.) Sorry for the over graphic details of my shit takings heh.
i never get nausea from 2ce... slight stomach discomfort, nothing major. ive even eaten half a huge eggsalad hogie before taking about 25-30mgs and then ate the other half of hogie and felt NO side effects what so ever... im glad. but i have a strong stomach. ive eaten 60grams of peruvian torch with no nausia or discomfort. and that shit is gross.
As I already posted dozens of times before: The best way to treat your stomach problems during a trip is to eat some fresh ginger. If you use a substance, of which you already know, that it might make you gastrointestinal problems, eat some grams fresh chopped ginger before ingesting the drug. You can also eat the ginger, if problems appear all of a sudden and unexpected during the trip, but the dose should be slightly higher. Please note: Ginger works best, when it´s really fresh (because the active ingredients that help against nausea are mostly etheric). For safety reasons, you should chop a little bit before you trip (handling a knife during a trip can lead to really big trouble!) and keep it in the fridge, it stays potent there for 6-8 hours. For longer trips, maybe put small bags containing the chops in the freezer. Some ginger drinks can also be helpful during a trip, but as they contain only very little amounts of the etherics, they will not replace the fresh root. Also note: every person is different and some might need much higher (or lower) doses of ginger (it of course also depends on which substance you took and in which dose). Experiment a little to find out your optimal dose. And: please check before using the ginger, if you suffer from the very, very rare ginger-allergy (only 0.0043% have this allergic, meaning that there are less than 10,000 in the U.S.)!
I always eat 50-100mg of diphenhydramine HCl. Works like a charm, but it will make you sleepy, even though you'll be tripping sack. I'm gonna have to try the fresh ginger next time, so I don't get sleepy.
