you should check out Tunng. they are kind of an electro-folk deal and they put on a really good live show. Willy Mason is also a great folk singer. If you like Iron and Wine check out the album they did with Calexico, then check out Calexico, if you haven't already. The new Jeremy Enigk album (the singer from Sunny Day Real Estate) is really good. That's what I got off the top of my head so far. Oh wait, listen to Animal Collective. They're fantastic.

Try to find music of the Incredible String band, and albums like Steeleye Span - Now we are six, Magna Carta - Lord of the ages, Davey Graham's Hat and also Larger than life and Twice as natural. Ehm, I also recommend Ashley Hutching's Morris on. Pentangle has some amazing english folk rock stuff which sounds slightly psychedelic to me, especially their albums Basket of light, Sweet child and The Pentangle. I think you also like the experimental folk rock stuff of Spiro Gyra.

If you find and listened to them, let us know what you liked!

You might like Tyrannosaurus Rex... I just recently discovered them... The original lineup was a guy on acoustic and a guy playing bongos... They made very psych folk music and a lot of it was inspired by Lord of The Rings... Very Cool Stuff
