I don't buy into him being "religious." I personally think it's all a front. I mean, just look at his past of bar fights and DWI's and cocaine binges. Do you think that he reformed himself overnight and is now all of a sudden the "perfect Christian"? I don't buy it for a second. It's very convenient for him to push that facade as a means to win votes, since there are so many idiots in America who will actually vote based on the fact that he's supposedly a man of Christian faith, as if that means anything.
haha, Cyberfly, I was thinking today, that I wouldn't be the least suprised if it turned out you were michael moore on a secret Username on hipforums. You and him are so alike in your views and the way you express them. As for what pressed Rat said, I have been PUSHING that since 2000, bush Isn't in the least a serious christian, and neither is cheney, or ashcroft, or wolfowitz, or rice, etc. They all use it was a way to push their agenda and get the christian vote... Peace and Love, Dan
If Bush is indeed a Christian, then I wonder what the fuck this is supposed to mean: Oh, probably just some harmless, globalist thing.... that's all.
lol...I thought that meant "rock 'n roll" in that punk type rock thing... ::shrug:: My cousin does it all the time whilst saying "ROCK!"
Well yeah I dont think he is a true Christian but he does play the role of fundamentalist quite well. But what he and the other hawks dont realize is that demographic is starting to dwindle especially in the South. People are starting to realize again that the economy, prices, and job security are more important thing for a president and the congress to talk about than "Christian" values, morals, and fighting useless/false wars. soon democrats will certainly win back majority in the White House for another fifty years and the country will be heading back in the right direction economically. If Kerry is elected that process will be sped up a little bit.
Bush is NOT a Christian! No way. The Bible commands us to help the poor and needy, to NOT give special treatment to the rich, ect. ect. Its all a front to get the votes of the religous right.
Not only is Ashcroft a fundie but he's a fully ordained Pentecostal Minister. Having had personal experience in Pentecostalism as a teenager I can testify to the typical mental instability of a great number of adherents to that form of religion by mass hysteria and its authoritarian "believe only what we tell you is the truth" doctrines. It's highly telling of the man's creds that his one and only run for elected office lost to a dead man.
No Rebel, I compile them from a variety of places. You can see where they came from by right clicking on the image and then clicking properties. Most of them come from back issues of http://www.bartcop.com You can get there directly at http://www.bartcop.com/back.htm
LickHerish calling an entire demonination mentally instable is a dangerous assumption. Shit like that is the reason we kept blacks and women from voting.
And rewording what people actually post in order to be contentious is intellectually dishonest. I said many adherents are, not "an entire denomination". Whether you like it or not, the truth simply is that many adherents to the emotionalistic and exhuberant arm waving, gibberish speaking, et al. spectacles which comprise Pentecostal services ARE emotionally unstable individuals. Firsthand encounters with many folks in countless Pentecostal churches in numerous states during my younger years showed that to be true. If you doubt me, devote some time to attending such services yourself. I am confident that you will see how so many are drawn in like a magnet.
I'm not pentecostal, but my boyfriend's family is. I've never seen a problem with their beliefs, or those of their church. It's not fair to target an entire belief because ashcroft might be a minister. Growing up in the SE United States, I happen to think my family's denomination, southern baptist, is more vile than pentecostal folk can ever dream of being. Then there are catholics, and I don't even want to get started on that. Every religion has it's psycho's.....and there are many people that claim to be religeous because they get some kind of satisfaction out of feeling holier than others, not because they want to serve their God.
I hope bush gets re-elected. This will get the war over with quick, and the downfall of america will happen quickly instead of dragged out. There is a prophecy in this world, and it belongs to all the people who have held the original teachings, handed down. It does not belong to just one peoples, but many peoples. That prophecy is slightly different from culture to culture, but the theme is the same. We are living in the final times of these ages, and the serpent must be cast out of this world before the new one can begin. America is part of that serpent. Not just the government, but the social establishment as well.
What proof do you have that Bush will get the war over quickly? Things certainly aren't moving quickly at the moment. Then after Iraq it will probably be Iran. As long as we have these neo-cons in office, you can expect to see continuous war. But Kerry is a neo-con, too, disguised as a moderate Democrat. We are screwed regardless of who is elected.
It means "I love you" in sign language, I think. But rat was being sarcastic methinks. You know, the older I get, the less problem I have generalizing about not only single religions, but all religions. Frankly they scare the shit out of me because they seem to cloud people's minds so much they will believe anything you tell them -- Things like, "Go ahead. It's ok to kill those people because they are our enemies. They are enemies to freedom. God is on our side, etc. etc." And frankly, christian fundamentalists scare me even more than the muslims. I mean they're all scary, but damn. Those people are FREAKY-DEAKY! edit: and yes, we are screwed either way.
Well, SvgGrdnBeauty...It isn't a signal for "Rock and Roll". It is a Globalist Hand Signal to the Illuminati.... Peace and Love, Dan
