Haha, thats normal don't be frightened. I get that two especially ever since i've used hallucinagens. Sometimes at night before i go to bed if i had eaten sugar i'll see things. Like once i watched my TV screen spin around in a big swirl. Also i see faces all over the place. Sometimes i'll stare at an object and it will morf into something else. I like it.

Is it bothering you or something? Also have you taken a lot of hallucinogens in your life?

hebrewnational00 can you look at an object and watch it move? I've got no mental problems that I know of and I can watch stuff move in front ( like a cardborad breathing ) of my eyes. It could just be your mind playing trick's on you.

its normal for your eyes to play tricks on you
your brain misenterperates signals all the time
    especialy when your tired
everyone gets that wait..did i just see that
    sensation now and then
and as for colors and stuff when u close your eyes,..thats natural
light burns umages into your retinas that take a momment to fade away when you close your eyes
typicaly they just leave behind colored blotches

now if you saw demons sitting by your bed talking to you telling ya to burn the house down, then id be alittle worried

Actually a friend of mine - had an eye condition where there was a hole in his eye which allowed the liquid to flow out and this caused his vision to have the exact symptoms you have - i forgot what its called but the hole is about a micron or less in diameter

I posted a thread about this called Visual hallucinations - What do you see at night...here is the post:
"From time to time i notice that when i begin staring at certain spots in my room, the room will begin to brighten in a certain way. It looks as if, with the lights off, the room is fuzzy and vibrating with a white glow. Also when this starts happening i begin to see vivid hallucinations such as spiraling circles, evil faces, and the appearance of eyes. It only happens at night and i experience no audio or visual hallucinations during the day, nor any audio hallucinations at night. It's just visual. The shadows in the room begin to change and grow. If i stare at a point long enough my vision begins to enter a "tunnel" and it is as if waves of energy are rushing across my vision (outside to inside). The colors red, purple, and black make up this tunnel. It never fully makes a tunnel it just rushes,in fades away, and rushes back. These waves are intense and make my head throb. Also the hallination begins with me seeing a red object constantly spinning in the middle of my vision. It appears to be in the shape of a squiggly, then takes the form of a circle. It seems the harder i concentrate on this thing the clearer the object gets. I am not scared of any of this because i feel like there is nothing to be afraid of. I know it is a hallucination, but i am trying to find answers to this situation. Any input on what you believe is happening to me would be great, becuase as it is when i talk to people about this they think i am crazy but i don't go thru a day without thinking about it. Thank you."

Yeah it happens to me at night when i'm laying down too. Not every night, but a lot. Usually after i eat sugar so in a way i guess you could consider it drug induced. But most of the time i see rows of these circles. They're perfectly alined. Also they're usually red with a yellowish tint to them. I also have seen these when on mushrooms. I just remembered that last night before i went to bed i was seeing this on my hands with the lights on. Also my finger prints were shifting about as if i were on acid. I love hallucinating.

I've read that it's normal. Also something related thats pretty cool are phosphenes. You know when you rub you eyes and you see all these shapes and colorful patterns.

ceremonial drugs (hallucinogens, etc.) are used initially to open our "doors of perception" (thanks, Huxley!).....they open previously unused neural pathways, but once we know the way there, so to speak, we no longer need the sacrament to get us there again

happens to many a seeker :)
