Anybody have any idea what kind of weed this is? It smells kind of musty and tastes not too good. Kind of a mild buzz. Paid a lot for it and it's seems like dirt. Just hoping someone can say where it's from. Is it moldy or something? It's really stringy.

I usually pay around $220 but I've seen it as high as $260. It could be different in different part of the country.

looks like some of those buds have been through the wash....im just curious but when people say low quality weed, that obviously means its a low quality smoke but why? is it because of the strain of weed? is it the lack care for the plants during flowering? age of the weed? what do you guys think?

    Hey Nismo!
    Q. "when people say low quality weed, that obviously means its a low quality smoke but why? is it because of the strain of weed? is it the lack care for the plants during flowering? age of the weed? what do you guys think?

    A. All of the above! And more! Obviousely some strains are more potent or taste better or smoother! The way a plant is grown and the conditions it grows under contribute to the overall quality: organic nutes=sweet, chemical nutes=harsh, harvested at wrong will affect the cannabinoid ratio, etc., etc. If not stored properly the weed can loose all of it's moisture resulting in drastically degraded THC and terrible taste.
Even pot that is grown with "not the best of care" can turn out to be pretty good! But - probably the most important (and the most overlooked, by beginners) factor in quality is the drying and curing process and proper storage.
