Hello! Because of the type of work I do we live a feast or famine lifestyle. Right now we are in our famine months. But tonight we will be eating like kings thanks to the generosity of Oswald who gifted us with a box of wild game meat from the Yukon. So tonight we will be having moose roast, organic potatoes from our garden and no name frozen peas. And I am wondering what the other folks on this forum will be having.
You might have to take the Concord jet to get here in time for some left over moose roast. But I guaranty it will be worth the trip. I noticed you were from Ohio and wondered if the Cedar Point amusement park was still around I used to go there a lot when I was a kid and loved the Blue Streak roller coaster.
The Blue Streak? What are you, 80 years old? Hahahaha, sorry man.. it's a good ride. But yeah, cedar point is about a 20 min. drive from where I grew up. I live in downtown Cleveland now. It is most certianly still there and it is still thriving and growing. During the summer months they have to ship out the cash in truck loads multiple times a day.. its fucking crazy how much they pull in from only being open for like 4 months out of the year. I used to get a season pass there every year, but I haven't gone much these past couple years. The coasters have gotten outrageous too.. the Blue Streak I think is the oldest coaster in the park now and it looks like a child's play thing compared to the new monsters. You should go back and check it out.. their prices are pretty high but I'd say it's worth it. -Mike
Hey thanks for the quick reply. I am pretty old but if I were at Cedar Point I would be skipping to the line up for the Blue Streak roller coaster. I love “wooden” roller coater rides. You said you live in Cleveland and couldn’t help but wonder if you ever see Corporal Klinger from Mash.
Actually I was mistaken. Corporal Klinger was from Toledo Ohio and he was just a fictional character. He was always trying to desert the army so he could get back home to Toledo
Hello! There are a lot of things in our world that should be stopped for the sake of our children. I don’t know if I am turning into a pessimist because sometimes I don’t think they will ever stop. But I will still keep trying to make changes for the sake of children. (my cause is to help steer kids away from crake/meth and or a life of crime) But I need a break ever now and then - so I would still like to hear what other people are having for supper and if they also have a feast or famine life style.
