^^ but we can still out number them.

totally OT, but I was at a Panic show with my sweetie and a friend of ours at the Bronco Bowl --gads, 99, 2000? -- and our friend was being bothered by this pack of frat boys.
He came over to me at setbreak and complained. I though for a sec, then told him to go along with whatever I said when they came back.
I started picking in my hair (I had a cluster of dreads I was trying to get to loc up as an experiment) like I was going after lice and flipping the "lice" into the air next to the yapper yuppies while loudly saying, "wow, I wish I could get rid of these bugs!" really loudly. The friend ad libbed some comments about crabs that he "got on tour."
    They bailed before set two.

I like the "freak them the fuck outta here" routine.

I like UM a lot because their playing is unbelievable but the first time I was going to see them some stupid fuck with huge aviators and gay hair kept like grinding on me. Like dude, that's my junk why are you grinding up against it? He was probably rolling titties and drunk. FWIU a lot of the fans are like that. So I bounced back to the car.

i just find UM's to cold and mathmatical. i originally went and saw them with an open mind, ready to get a dose of what my uncle (a very trusted musical mentor) said was the next "big" thing. i left before the second set. the two guitar thing got really cheesy. then i went to WAKA 05 and instead of STS9 (who had to cancel) it was UMs, what a boring, uneventful wanking session- of a show....but i must say when Brendan played with Jazz Mandolin Project at Waka 05, it was awesome....but i think JMP had a little something to do with that....
