I've gotten through a full day of not smoking. ^____^ (and I plan on staying quit.) I am super proud of myself, and had to share it.
Thanks everyone. I'm almost at 3 full days now, and though it doesn't seem like a whole lot, I'm really proud, because for a while there, it felt like HELL. It's settling down now, today, I am less irritable and I'm not physically craving a cigarette much anymore; now its all psychological, and I have power over that. I feel SO much better ALREADY. I've had insane amounts of energy, I can't even believe it, and how quickly I'm feeling better and everything. Whenever I miss smoking, I think about how much I missed my energy for so long, and that having this energy is much more worth it than smoking a cigarette. I decided next paycheck I'm going to take out 28 dollars in cash (because I usually just deposit everything to my checking) and I'm going to put the 4 dollars I'd spend on cigarettes in a jar, everyday that I don't smoke, and watch it add up. And by the end of my lease, I should have enough saved up to get a nicer apartment ^_^
That's great! Anyone who has quit smoking (ooo! ooo! raising my hand) knows how hard three days can be. Keep it up, you're doing awesome!
