    I think the old fashioned way of tattooing was to use ashes... am i right?

    And can it still be done?

    i dont know about it being old fashion but im pretty sure ive heard of people getting thiere loved ones' ashes put into their tattoo.

    Thats the idea, my 3-month old son just passed from SIDS, and I want to get him tattooed as an angel on my side.

    I can't help you with that, I don't know anything about this issue. But I'm very sorry for what happened, I feel you sister...

    First off , I am profoundly sorry for your terrible loss.

    But to your first question, Ashes are still used in some home tats and most of the jail house tattoos you see. In jail house tats they burn almost anything to make the ink, plastic, wood, paper etc.
