Just got some Northern Lights seeds from Dr. Chronic (2 broken...) but wondering what is the best way to store them? It will be about 1 month before I'm ready to start growing them. Any help would be appreciated.

If they came in an envelope, just close it back up and go to your closet - stick it into a pocket of something you wont be wearing soon.

my dad and I were going to grow some plants with 4 seeds he had bought 8 years ago 2$ a piece, from good weed. They wouldn't sprout. we had them in a tupperware contrainer with no lid, wrapped in damp paper towel, after 9 days we threw them out

    Hey fuzionx!
I wouldn't consider eight years to be "short term storage"! For that length of time you would definately need to use some protective measures.
In a natural scenario; the seeds "fall" in Autumn and lie completely unprotected through the winter (snow, frost - whatever) untill the following Spring when they, somehow, manage to sprout. That's how it works - they don't need protection for a few monthes of storage in a reasonable environment.
Long term storage is a whole different ball game!! If your seeds had been properly stored for eight years I would expect about 65-75% viability (more or less). How did you have them stored?
