Anyone heard of RU36, from the East Bay, California? They're from my hometown and I grew up listening to them when they still played in the garage. They've gotten a little bigger since those days, and I'm just wondering if maybe anybody here's heard of em. Heres a sample of their music, just make sure the kiddies are out of the room, and anyone else that doesn't appreciate or have a sense of gross-out humor for that matter (you'll know why in a second): http://intraa.net/petifile.mp3 Believe me, they're no where near the level of respectable musicianship that other bands who share the same caliber of success are, yet they were able to gain the same type of respect from both fans and fellow musicians alike through their stage performance and antics (they once spraypainted "RU36" across a concrete drainage system off the side of the freeway - about the length and width of three football feilds, so fuckin big you could literally see it from the next town over). Anyways, I think their MySpace page has some other songs on it, I just thoroughly enjoyed the aforemntioned tune and thought some of you might get a kick out of it as well ...if not, then you probably think I'm a sick fuck that's going to burn in hell, to which I say you're probably right, but just in case I don't make it in, here's a joke: Q: How do you make an 8 year-old girl cry twice?
