What's one of your favorite kick-ass albums of all time? Well, I ask this because I just got 15$ to spend and need a new CD to listen to. All of mine I have just played again and again and again... if I hear Dark Side of the Moon or Sgt.Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band again I'm going to have to pull my hair out. I love my collection, but I've just heard it too many times! So, any recommendations for your favorite albums, or favorite artists? Yeah, I realize there are about three or four of these threads already created, but I'm selfish. turn me on to something good, people!
Well I was gonna reccommend some stuff by Pink Floyd and The Beatles, but 2 great albums that I've been listening to all day today: Live in 1975(Pt. 5 of the bootleg serries)-Bob Dylan Dedication: The Best of Thin Lizzy-Thin Lizzy also Amused to Death-Roger Waters
Katie... how many times do I have to tell you!?!? TOMMY! That's all you need to know! Actually, more seriously... you should get The Who's 1966 album A Quick One. You NEED it! If you're going to have Roger in your sig, you need some more WHO! Some others you should check out... The Velvet Underground - The Velvet Underground & Nico The Yardbirds - Roger the Engineer Pink Floyd - The Piper at the Gates of Dawn (This would be an interesting change; totally different from Dark Side) The Rolling Stones - Their Satanic Majesties Request Cream - Fresh Cream Cream - Disraeli Gears Jethro Tull - Aqualung Syd Barrett - The Madcap Laughs All good stuff there, but you should definitely get A Quick One if you ask me.
